What a busy night! After work, I made some tasty turkey burgers from a recipe I recently came across. (I realized while I was making them that I’d never actually made turkey burgers before! Very easy, of course.) When we finished eating, Paul and I headed to the grocery store to stock our kitchen before his parents’ arrival tomorrow.
After we returned home, I prepped ingredients for tomorrow’s dinner and cleaned the kitchen while Paul tackled both of the bathrooms. (I plan to make a CrockPot meal for Friday’s dinner — it will be ready to go when they finish their long drive, even if I’ve just gotten home from work.)
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, sweet potato fries
Lunch: Last night’s Country Captain Chicken with braised cabbage; Squash and zucchini with ground pork
Snack: Blueberries
Dinner: Dijon Turkey Burgers with Guacamole and Braised Cabbage
I didn’t add the peppers or Parmesan that the recipe called for, and just used regular sea salt instead of the Himalayan salt. Paul ate his on a bun. Very good.
(Reminder: I’m following the Whole30 for the month of July. Here’s why.)

I was wondering how you braised your cabbage? It always looks so good and I would love to try it.
Corrie – Good question! I’ll write about it in a post soon. Just need to take a few pics for illustration first.
